TERESA A. KLAUM is a trial attorney who joined Conway, Farrell, Curtin & Kelly in 1991 and has been a member of the firm since 2000. In her practice, Ms. Klaum works with the firm’s General Liability and Trial Practice unit, handling the defense of various cases involving motor vehicle accidents, labor law and construction, railroad crossing accidents and premises liability. Ms. Klaum is an experienced trial attorney who, over the past nineteen (19) years, has taken a multitude of cases to both jury and non-jury verdicts in the New York State Supreme Courts and Federal Courts.

Ms. Klaum is a cum laude graduate at the University of Dallas in 1982 and attended the masters program at St. John’s University, graduating magna cum laude in 1985. She earned her Juris Doctor at New York Law School in 1991. Ms. Klaum was admitted to practice law in Connecticut in 1991 and in New York and United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1992. She is also admitted in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Ms. Klaum is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the New York State and the New York City Bar Associations. She is a past member of the Tort Litigation Committee, the Construction Law Committee, and a present member of the International Trade Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Ms. Klaum spoke on Subrogation Actions at the NYSBA: Tort, Insurance and Compensation Law Section's Annual Meeting in April 2008, in San Diego, CA.
